So Good!!! 💖The Whiskey Run universe of tales is SO good!!! The latest couple is ultra sweet Janie and seriously sexy Carter。 These 2 may seem like opposites but what they really are is perfect for each other。 Absolutely loved this short read and their HEA is fantastic !!!

This is a story about overcoming your fears and opening yourself up to love。 Carter and Janie couldn't be more different but yet they're perfect for each other。 Carter is a rancher who used to be big in the rodeo circuit until an injury ended his rodeo career forcing him to focus only on ranching。 He buys some land and is working on making a fresh start。 Janie is the preacher's daughter just home from college and looking to find a job。 She runs into Carter at the Whiskey Run Co-op and the sparks This is a story about overcoming your fears and opening yourself up to love。 Carter and Janie couldn't be more different but yet they're perfect for each other。 Carter is a rancher who used to be big in the rodeo circuit until an injury ended his rodeo career forcing him to focus only on ranching。 He buys some land and is working on making a fresh start。 Janie is the preacher's daughter just home from college and looking to find a job。 She runs into Carter at the Whiskey Run Co-op and the sparks fly。 Carter thinks he's too old and broken for her and Janie doesn't think she's the kind of girl who can hold his interest since she's not as modern as everyone else being the preacher's daughter。 There's also an age difference between them so Carter tells her they'll start off friends even though he wants to kiss her and do quite a bit more。 Janie wants more too but everyone is telling her that Carter might not be the settling down type of guy even her dad said so and he likes Carter。 I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers。 I will say that you need to go on Carter and Janie's journey it was done beautifully。 I can't recommend this book highly enough and I'm looking forward to the next book in the Cowboys Love Curves series。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more

Here we have a sweet alpha male and virgin romance。 It is quite well written but sometimes the dialogue became somewhat juvenile。 Despite that I am happy to give it fabulous four stars as it was fun to read and basically is also a feelgood story :-)。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。

My idea of courting!Ok, now I've read a few books by Hope and I can see that when she writes, she writes with realism。 Everything there is, could actually happen。 Another realistic portrayal of romance and it was really beautiful。 Both characters are so darn charming you can't help but root for them。Both meet and there is that instant connection-their world has now changed, and for the better。 Both our leads are so mindful of one another it really was beautiful。 The story is like something pulle My idea of courting!Ok, now I've read a few books by Hope and I can see that when she writes, she writes with realism。 Everything there is, could actually happen。 Another realistic portrayal of romance and it was really beautiful。 Both characters are so darn charming you can't help but root for them。Both meet and there is that instant connection-their world has now changed, and for the better。 Both our leads are so mindful of one another it really was beautiful。 The story is like something pulled from real life and there is magic in that as well。 Both have insecurities that get in the way of them just going for it。 There was no denying your heart and they figured out that they are both in this, equally。 Now this had some spicy scenes, but nothing over the top and keeping true to the characters。 Such lovely couple, I can't say it enough! Carter is starting a horse ranch when he meets Janie, the pastor's daughter。 This is a sweet story, intense that they are unsure about each other at first。 Though it is an emotional story with deep feelings and a happy ending。 I loved the passion Carter feels for Janie and how protective he is of her。 I also liked that her dad is respecting of Carter and supportive of the relationship。 Great story!I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 Carter is starting a horse ranch when he meets Janie, the pastor's daughter。 This is a sweet story, intense that they are unsure about each other at first。 Though it is an emotional story with deep feelings and a happy ending。 I loved the passion Carter feels for Janie and how protective he is of her。 I also liked that her dad is respecting of Carter and supportive of the relationship。 Great story!I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more

Janie and CarterShe’s the preacher’s daughter and the sweetheart of the town。 He’s the cynical older cowboy who doesn’t believe in forever but becomes obsessed with her。 Through trust issues and small town gossip, Janie and Carter struggle with the feelings blooming between them。 The steamy looks they share, and the hot kisses, turn into the sweetest HEA!I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。

Janie and Carter's story is one of instant attraction, age gap, life differences, values, belief, people's perceptions and being true to yourself。 The connection between the two of them could have been explored more for me personally, but I did liked them as a couple and liked seeing their relationship develop, their journey isn't a smooth one but was worth it to get to their HEA。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 Janie and Carter's story is one of instant attraction, age gap, life differences, values, belief, people's perceptions and being true to yourself。 The connection between the two of them could have been explored more for me personally, but I did liked them as a couple and liked seeing their relationship develop, their journey isn't a smooth one but was worth it to get to their HEA。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more

I received this as an arc for my honest review Age gap romance and a cowboy all in one story, count me in。 I loved the love story between the rugged older cowboy and the preacher’s younger daughter。 They both felt an instant attraction and wanted to get to know each other better。 I loved how they took time to get to know each other and then just couldn’t help falling in love。 Another great story by Hope Ford。

3。5 Stars Good。Much like the other books in the Whiskey Run storyline, there is instant attraction, sweetness and steam。 Carter and Janie meet by accident and have an immediate attraction for each other。 He is jaded by his past and much older than her。 She is the sweet, and very innocent, preacher's daughter。 I loved the beginning of the story, how quickly things moved and his unapologetic pursuit of her。 I liked that she was standing by her convictions even though she was attracted to him。 I lo 3。5 Stars Good。Much like the other books in the Whiskey Run storyline, there is instant attraction, sweetness and steam。 Carter and Janie meet by accident and have an immediate attraction for each other。 He is jaded by his past and much older than her。 She is the sweet, and very innocent, preacher's daughter。 I loved the beginning of the story, how quickly things moved and his unapologetic pursuit of her。 I liked that she was standing by her convictions even though she was attracted to him。 I lost a little of the momentum with the misunderstanding and the bar scene; it felt weird and off to me, and the proposal and marriage just tanked the story for me all together - but then the ending was sweet and of course there's the happy ever after。 I received a copy of this book from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more

Carter and Janie's story was frustrating。 Carter was older and wanted Janie but because he was burned in the past he didn't think he would be able to commit to marriage and also didn't think he had enough to offer her。 Janie is home from college and helping her dad at his church until she finds a job。 What Janie really wants is marriage and to be able to stay home to take care of her family。 Carter starts to pursue her then pulls back but then decides they can be friends, kissing friends。 Janie Carter and Janie's story was frustrating。 Carter was older and wanted Janie but because he was burned in the past he didn't think he would be able to commit to marriage and also didn't think he had enough to offer her。 Janie is home from college and helping her dad at his church until she finds a job。 What Janie really wants is marriage and to be able to stay home to take care of her family。 Carter starts to pursue her then pulls back but then decides they can be friends, kissing friends。 Janie is already confused by Carter and her new found desires so she wants to be kissing friends, even though she knows Carter is not the marrying kind。 About the time Janie's heart is breaking is when Carter realizes all that he could have with her。 He just needs to convince Janie that he's all in。 I could understand Carter's hesitation, given his past but I didn't like how he hurt Janie because he couldn't see what he could have with her。 Janie was very naïve about men and relationships so her confusion and heartbreak was genuine。 But once they got back on the same page they had a great future ahead of them。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more

Although Hope Ford is one of my go to authors this was a bit of a disappointment due to the previous mentions in the Whiskey Run: Cowboys Love Curves series。 This is part of a multiple author series and there were two teases in previous books so a bit of a build-up。 I took a star away as the scenes from the other books led to anticipating an epic groveling/tug of war relationship。All that being said, it is a very good book。 However, this book is better as a stand-alone because of the buildup fro Although Hope Ford is one of my go to authors this was a bit of a disappointment due to the previous mentions in the Whiskey Run: Cowboys Love Curves series。 This is part of a multiple author series and there were two teases in previous books so a bit of a build-up。 I took a star away as the scenes from the other books led to anticipating an epic groveling/tug of war relationship。All that being said, it is a very good book。 However, this book is better as a stand-alone because of the buildup from the teasers。 Janie and Carter have a great story just not what I anticipated。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more
